"S" Family Portraits

I photographed the "S" family at their home, north of Lansing, MI. It was a rainy day, but we some how lucked out with about an hour or two with no rain, which happened to be when our session was scheduled for! And to top it off, I got to hang out with this fun, loving family:)

p.s. In case you cant tell, they are huge Steelers fans!

I met up with Al'b and his Mother and his girlfriend at the MSU Horticultural gardens last month. It was a beautiful day, and we had a lot of fun.

Caleb & Parents: Preview

I couldnt resist posting this preview from Caleb's 2 year photo session. Mom and Dad decided to get a few family shots while we were at it- arent they one of the cutest families you've ever seen?

Makeovers: Cosmetology portfolio images

This shoot was for portfolio images for cosmetology students Shannon Ackley and my sister Jessica Doty. I cant remember the last time I had so much fun! These ladies are seriously talented and creative. If you are interested in their work, pop over to Regency Institute in Lansing in a month or two and pay them a visit!

Lincoln and Family

About a year ago I had the privilege of shooting little Lincoln's One year photos. Isn't he a cutie? Such beautiful blue eyes!

So I was very excited to to be able to shoot his Two year photos a few weeks ago. Lincoln is quite the little charmer and has a ton of energy. I had a lot of fun with his family!

Beth and Jeremy: Trash the Dress

This was SO much fun! Beth looked so beautiful in her wedding gown, and Jeremy rented his tux again for the shoot (dont worry- we didnt REALLY trash the gown or the tux- they just got a little wet). And such a great couple- really nice people and so funny! This was my first "trash the dress" session and I'm looking forward to doing more. I might even "trash" my own dress- if I ever fit in it again, that is.

Here are a few of my favorites...
